pics of the downtown area

my final post for today. i took these pictures thru the car window. ma was driving. they are of family video and papa murphy's, evans, luigis on the east side across from pick and save. also a picture of the river from 22nd street bridge.

pier

there is work being done on the north pier. here are a few pics of the cranes and such. it is very nosiey with all of the banging. i took the pic's again from the lighthouse inn's lot.

memorial drive

last year the city manager wanted the view on memorial drive to look nice. so he had planted some grass and wild flowers. these pictures were taken from the lighthouse inn's parking lot.

here are some pic's of the lake. ma and i stopped at the wayside off of memorial drive. the first pic is a view of manitowoc and sheboygan of the shoreline. the 2nd and 3rd of the two rivers shoreline.

kohls

here is a pic of the new kohls store . it is next door to lowe's. right acroos from perkins resturant, and the hotel.

downtown sites

here are a few pics of the downtown. the community house, the park downtown with the fountain.

corn

our neighbor was feeding the birds, and it had corn seed in. i now have corn growing in the old fire pit. see if we get any cobs. my pampas grass is finally growing too.

new ceiling fan and painting of garage

here is my new ceiling fan, and the work george is doing on our garage, he is painting the door and window and then the trim, makes it look nicer all painted.

madison street bridge

these are a few pictures of the new madison street bridge i took today. suppose to open on the 20th of july. a big party is planned for it's opening. the next bridge to be done is the 17th street brdige.

these pictures are of our driveway wall, it is falling down. it is on our property but we didn't put the wall up. also the one picture with the traler in is of one of our loser neighbor's backyard. well that is all for now. pa gopt rid of the bucksa and wheelbarrows behind our coop.

july 5th here are some pictures of the flowers we have this year and one of our pine tree. my sister, kay, got it from lucky charms cereal and we planted it was just a small little twig. the rabbits got it so many times, that we thought it was a goner. i gave it miracid from miracle grow and put a wire fence around it to keep the rabbits away. then when it started getting bigger we hung lights on it for christmas, now we would need a truck with a basket on to hang the lights!

july 4th

this is our small weber, we downsized the old one was way to big. and it was ready for the garbage. it takes longer to cook on the small one, don't know why!

Saturday July 5th

hi, it is a nice sunny day here, i only worked 6 hours that was quite enough! i work in a deli in a grocery store and we sure had the wackies in today! whenever there is a new or full moon they , the customers come out of the woodwork. well i don't know what else to write.
